Bringing Collaborative Medical Publishing to Lviv National Medical University

Yesterday, I had the privilege of visiting the Dean’s Office at Lviv National Medical University "Danylo Halycky" in Lviv, Ukraine.

I met with the Vice Dean to discuss the official release of our book, Plastic Surgery Demystified—now available on Amazon—and to share the powerful vision behind the co-authorship program that made it possible.

This initiative, founded by Ruben Nersesian, is a groundbreaking opportunity not only for medical professionals, but also for students, university professors, and anyone in the medical field who is passionate about contributing to academic literature and gaining visibility in their field.

Our mission is simple yet bold: to eliminate financial and institutional barriers and empower aspiring authors to co-write and publish books that elevate their academic and professional standing. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just beginning your journey in medicine, this program is your gateway to becoming a published author and thought leader.

It was an inspiring and hopeful discussion, and we are now actively working to bring this initiative to more universities across borders.

The future of medical writing is collaborative, inclusive, and filled with possibility.
